I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's been praying and supporting me financially! I cannot tell you how completely I've been blown away at your faithfulness and generosity. I feel like I've been over-using those 2 words, but they are the truth. Y'all have inspired and challenged me to be faithful and generous with my time, my prayers, and my finances!

For years, I've struggled with the whole tithing thing. I know it's what God calls us to do, not because He wants our (really His) money, but because He wants to grow in us a spirit of giving, faithfulness, and generosity. I've known this for years, but as I've watched you guys giving faithfully and praying for me faithfully, I've been challenged to give faithfully too. So thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Out of your joyfulness and faithfulness, God has used you to teach me something important.

I wanted to share a picture of my littlest donor (and parents):

Proof that it doesn't matter your age- you can still make a difference! I have been so incredibly blessed to have these people in my life!

Quick update: My first financial deadline is approaching. I need $3,500 in my account by 9/27/13 to be able to go to Training Camp. So if you feel led to give, you can either click on the "Support Me" links at the top or the left side of the page. OR you can mail a check to:

**Do NOT give if you don't feel like God is asking you to.

**Do NOT give if it would take money away from other ministries you've committed to.

I would still absolutely love your prayers! And please let me know how I can be praying for you. Seriously. I don't want this to be a one way street. I want to build relationships during this time. I feel like God is teaching me to pour out love and support on others in this season of my life. As an introvert, I struggle with building relationships, giving of myself, and trusting others, but I want God's strength and love to be shown in how He changes this about me.

So thank you again! Thank you for your prayers, your love, and your donations. I can't wait to see what God's gonna do in the next year. I am looking forward to seeing people come to know the love that Jesus has for them. I can't wait to see the freedom and joy in their eyes. And I can't wait to see brokenness healed. We serve an amazing God that can do all of these things and more.

In Christ Alone,

Shannon
