So I have some beautiful news: God has provided for my first financial deadline….and it's a really cool story too! But first, thank you for everyone that has given so far. I have been completely blown away by your generosity and eagerness to help. I love each & every one of you. Whether you gave $5 or $1000, you have been a testimony to me. An example of God's love lived out. Thank you.
I promised you a good story, so here it is. Over the past few weeks, we (my squad & I) have been doing prayer partners weekly. It's been pretty amazing. These men and women have such a heart for God. I love it. Anyways, this past week, I've been in a group of 3. These 2 girls are just amazing. Their faith is inspiring and they have been so encouraging. We've all been praying for each other for different things, finances included. Well, last night, Kori, sweet Kori, sent me a message saying that God had spoken to her. God told her that I'd have more than enough. I thought, "Awesome!". Then I realized she didn't say anything about when I'd have more than enough. So the worry wart came out in me a little, but by this morning, I was able to shut it up (with God's strength). I decided to trust that God had spoken to Kori. And guess what? HE DID!
This afternoon, I had an anonymous donation that put me over what I needed for this first deadline. Pretty cool stuff, right? That Jesus, He's just so awesome!
So I don't know who you are Anonymous, but I do know how beautiful your heart is. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart and the top of my lungs, THANK YOU.
I have been so blessed by all this giving and all this prayer, that I want to keep it going. So can I ask a favor? Would you consider giving to Kori? She has only had $20 in donations. God has blessed her with friends that have helped provide for her physical needs (backpack, tent, etc), but I would love to see her socks blown off in another way.
