Y’all, I’m having such a hard time figuring out how to sum up Honduras and Debrief. How can I sum up an amazing month and an amazing week into 1 or even 5 blogs? There’s just no way.

So here are some of the highlights, in no particular order:

-Amazing host family time
-Morning devotionals and worship
-Incredibly loving children that have seen so much hurt
-Bucket showers (not as bad as I thought- definitely a fun challenge)
-“Lake days”
-Broken ankle and crutches
-Parasites and ameobas (some stories that are really funny now, but weren’t at the time)
-10 new brothers and sisters in the Lord
-Our first skit- so much fun (great job, Tara!)
-A fun little dance party while wearing a boot
-Amazing food & a fun time cooking
-Ice cream and internet- a very good combination
-Seed ticks galore
-3 doctor visits in foreign countries (not bad, but definitely made me appreciate the care we get at home!)
-Fernando’s (best kaffee in the world- Starbucks can’t even dream of touching this man’s kaffee)
-Pan Colonial- mmmm
-White Chocolate Snow Frappe (tasted just like a Vanilla Bean Frapp at Starbucks- thanks, Jeff & Alyssa)
-Great team time & debrief time
-Chocolate and Chex mix from Sharon & Bobby (that Chex Mix tasted almost like home- thank you!)
-The purchase of some awesome & colorful parachute type pants
-Cake & a pinata in the park (& the cops that were watching us)

So, yea, that’s what I’ve got for now. It’s been a crazy month and a crazy awesome debrief, so I’ll try to write more later when my brain can process it all.

Thanks for your continued prayers! This has been an extra challenging month for me & I’m so glad I’ve had prayer warriors at home. Those prayers have kept me here and given me strength when I had none left.
