This month the Lord is really doing a work in my heart about what being "beautiful" really means. Here are some things I've decided…
Beauty is not seeing myself in a mirror for an entire month
Beauty is not wearing even the slightest bit of make up for an entire month
Beauty is the horrible heat rash I have on my shoulders that looks like really bad acne from working countless hours on a Mozambiquan farm

Beauty is embracing my flat chest that I have “developed” (interesting word choice?) while on the World Race
Beauty is modesty
Beauty is the 5 women on my team who embody what it means to be a Godly woman and strive for it more and more

Beauty is confessing our junk
Beauty is not buying jewelry or clothes to make myself feel feminine but embracing the innate femininity I have within
Beauty is blistered hands
Beauty is wearing the same 3 outfits every day for a month because I don’t need my outfit to inspire my own confidence
Beauty is strength
Beauty is loving well
Beauty is honesty
Beauty is letting each other know when your zit is ready to be popped or if you have something in your teeth because you don’t have a mirror
Beauty is farmers tan
Beauty is dirt under your nails
Beauty is simplicity
Beauty is a willing heart and willing hands
“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” – Proverbs 31:30
