Best Day in Albania
One of my favorite God moments of this month was my trip to the beach this last weekend.

All month, my few touches on a soccer ball came once with a gypsy kid on the street and once returning a lost ball to its owner in Berat. Every time we passed a grassy field with nets at either end, I yearned to play. However, our days have been so busy, it's been impossible.
On Saturday night, I prayed that would find a soccer game. It was a simple request, but I desperately wanted the relaxation that comes from a soccer game. After lunch on Sunday, Kellie, Jake, and I borrowed two bicycles and trekked about an hour to the Adriatic Sea. We had a fantastic time taking pictures and dipping our toes in the water. I kept discreetly peeking around to see if any of the clumps of people would morph into a soccer game.
Turning away from a spectacular view of the mountatins, I see an even better sight – a soccer ball and four goal posts. I spent the next half hour or so playing soccer by the Adriatic Sea.

God really cares about the little things in life. He knew I wanted to play soccer and He answered my prayers well beyond what I could have hoped for. It’s the little things that make a difference.
