TEAM 6:33- Free in Christ
Please get to know my team so that when I mention them in future posts, you know what I'm talking about and can picture what is going on in the stories.  Also, I would appreciate prayer for each person as we endeaver this journey together!

Michael Bourdon:  He is a man after God’s heart.
He desires to love
and be loved by our creator. Fishing, strange you tube videos and
story telling are passions he has.  He really enjoy, snakes, 8-legged
critters, and most critters that aren't fuzzy.  Michael is 32 and from
Kansas City.  He hasknown for over a year he wanted to do the race
with his wife, Veronica.  I really appreciate his honesty.  Even
though it is sometimes hard to hear, I know it is out of love so it’s
necessary and appreciated.

Veronica Bourdon:  She is a warrior for Christ in the most
compassionate way I have ever seen.  She is easy to give
of everything she has to help someone else, even if it means
she loses out.  Veronica loves to talk and to explore (snakes).
She is 23 and Paruaguan, but spent a lot of time in Kansas City.
She is excited about misionary life and would like to minister
through nursing later on!  I love that she loves our team as her
family and gives her most honest self to our team!

Noah Myers:  He is full of Biblical knowledge and an
understanding that clearly comes from God.  His
background of religious studies is so important to our
team of believers who need someone to lead them in
the Biblical TRUTH.  Noah is an adventurer and will jump
at the chance to try something new (mutton head…eww).
Noah is 24 and from Colorado, went to Bible school for a
year in England, then got his Religious Philosophy degree
from Colorado State University.   I so appreciate that he
enjoys teaching us and is more than happy to share his
knowledge.  He recognizes it as his spiritual gift!

Zach Curtis:  He is our team leader and a great one at that!
He is a joyful person that clearly wants our team to love and
care about each other as a family.  Zach is easy to overcome
fears and do things for the sake of our unity with a high focus
on honesty.  Zach graduated with a business degree from his
homestate college, University of Iowa in 2011 and is a dedicated
marathon runner and loves to exercise!  Woo hoo!  I appreciate
that Zach intentionally calls each of my teammates and I to
actively pursue what God has for us.

Deborah Eccles:  Deborah is a strong believer who is indebted to
the Word every moment she can spare.  She is a powerful woman
of Christ and has a firm stance on His majesty.  She likes to
comfort people when they are hurting and love people in the way
they feel most loved!  Deborah graduated from Florida State
University with a degree in International Affairs. She is 22.  I love
that she is adventurous and takes my teammates and my heart
into such high consideration.

Lauren Longion:  Lonny is the most outspoken person I know.  Don’t
take that the wrong way…..by any means because she is a serious
blessing to this team. Longion loves to do abs workouts and watch
Friends (which she has on her hard drive and shares with me!!)
Sarcasm soars, which I appreciate because it makes me feel at home!
Lauren is 23 and graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Parks,
Recreation, and Tourism.  She also loved working at Disney for a
summer.  What she sees as truth in this team, she brings up.  I have
learned that when living this close in community,  raw honesty is necessary.
So I have been encouraged to speak what I believe and not conform
just because it might be easier.

My team is amazing and encouraging and challenging and I am looking forward to spending the next 10+ months with them!

More posts are coming soon, along with pictures!   As always, please comment or ask any questions you may have below or by email at [email protected]!
