First I want to say Hi, and THANK YOU for taking an interest in my profile! I feel truly Blessed to be starting this journey and the fact that you take a few minutes to get to know me is amazing.

SECOND, I am not really good at blogging but since “a picture is worth a thousand words” Let me describe who I am through them.

Me, my sister and my niece spending some quality time together. Some of the most important ladies in my life right here. I would give the world for them!

My Brother’s sons, my three very handsome Nephews!!! They live in Texas and I miss them everyday! They have three BIG parts of my heart and I cannot wait to see them again!!!

On December 2, 2013 my mom under went a SUCCESSFUL Heart Transplant surgery; After 2 years of heart failure, multiple Heart surgeries, failing heart pumps (LVAD), and many tears. God sent her an Angel and allowed my family a new Beginning. This picture is the first time we were allowed into her room after the heart transplant and we saw her strong and healthy heart beat (For those who don’t know; when one has an LVAD heart pump (which my mom did) your do not have a heart beat, its more of a whooshing sound). So this was the first time my mom had a heart beat in 7 months.

My career and My life is to teach children with special needs. I currently work in a preschool for children with autism, but each year as I teach my students its really them who teach us. Every day I learn lesson from these amazing children! In the picture below are some of my students who graduated and went off to kindergarten, but they left such an impact on my life that I met up with them after they were no linger in my school just to keep that connection.

After I finish teaching at my preschool for the day I continue working and head to my Tae Kwon Do studio to instruct my students there. This is another job that I love and appreciate every minute of it. Every student who comes to our school learns that Martial Arts is not just about kicking or punching but about Character. Every Class, Every day students recite and learn about honesty, integrity, compassion, politeness, loyalty, justice, and courage.

What I do not have a picture of is that fact that I am currently Attending Nova Southeastern University in pursuit of my Masters degree in Developmental Disabilities with a concentration in applied behavior analysis. I only have one more semester left, and look forward to that day that I can say all this hard work paid off!!

I am truly blessed to have my family and friends in my life. You are all important to me and to who I am. I am excited about my journey to the World Race and know that I am lucky that you are all here to support me. Thank You!
