Meet My New Team!

The start of 2012 brought a lot of changes for us World Racers.  Not only did we change continents, from Central America to Asia, but we also changed TEAMS.  At first, it was difficult to say good-bye to my Spittin’ Image teammates…we had gotten so close over the past 3 months. However, my new teammates are amazing and I am certain that God is going to use us in mighty ways to bring his Love to His people in Asia. Let me introduce you to the GIRLS of

Team

 WELLSPRING!

Ash Garcia
Is our fearless team leader, and proudly hails from the great state of California. She loves bright colors and enjoys wearing her new heart-shaped sunglasses wherever we go. She is a master at photography (which our team will definitely benefit from) and can handle the spiciest of spicy food.

Becca Bradford

It just so happens that The World Race is the second time our paths have crossed…we both were camp counselors at Camp Brackenhurst in Kenya during the summer of 2007! It is so wonderful to be serving overseas with Becca again…she brings joy wherever she goes. She is from Florida, but spent a couple of years in L.A. where she learned to style hair. She has a heart for Africa, with a tattoo to prove it.

Sydney Woods
Sydney is from Chattanooga, TN, making her my closest neighbor on The World Race! She is super-sweet, which makes up for the fact she graduated from Auburn. (Just Kidding!) She has a master’s degree in Speech Therapy and loves kids.  I’m excited to be on a team with such a sweet woman of God!

Tressa Clay
Tressa is my dreaded-head friend from Springfield, Missouri. She is the team music-buff and loves James Taylor about as much as she loves ice-cream. Tressa always has a fresh perspective and snacks to offer the team.

Nikki Sienkiewicz
Nikki has lived all over the States, but calls Michigan her home. She attended Lee University (not too far from my home!) and handles the team’s finances. She is incredibly generous and always takes a moment to think about others.

Our team name "Wellspring" comes from John 4, when Jesus speaks to the Samaritan woman at the well. Jesus said,
“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

We desire to share with others the water from the well that never runs dry…Christ.
