Hey everyone I’m still alive don’t worry!

Just an update for all of y’all, we made it to the Philippines!! So we are in our “manistry” month which is basically all the guys from the co-ed teams are together for our first month here. The ministry the guys and I are working with is called Children’s Garden of the Philippines and what they do is take in street kids and give them a roof over their heads, food in their bellies, help them with school, and give them a solid foundation in their faith. The kids stories are heart breaking but they are stories of the protection and unfailing love that God has for each one of his children. The people of the Philippines don’t enjoy soccer as much as the rest of the world, no instead their sports obsession is basketball. Because basketball is so big here a team of high school seniors from the Hope International School in Beijing, China raised funds to build a basketball court behind the Children’s Garden building and we had the opportunity to serve along side them for a few days as they came to help build the basketball court they sponsored. Their last night serving with us we had worship let by some of their team, Andrew, Dakota, and I. The world race boys played the song How He Loves and it brought many of the boys to tears simply because it reminded them of how much the Lord cares for each of them. It was an amazing night and I’m glad I was able to help so many have an encounter with God Through worship.

Yeah so that’s how the Philippines has been going. My dad will be here in a few weeks for the parent vision trip and I’m super pumped for that!

Yeah cool!
