A few days ago I arrived at my last ministry sight of the year… Cornesti, Moldova. After an extensive stay in Romania I was not looking forward to leaving. The city of Targu Mures and the people there felt like home. It’s been quite some time since I’ve lived anywhere for four weeks and I was feeling quite comfortable, yet, the race is not quite over, so here I am in Moldova.

I’ll be spending a total of twelve days here in Cornesti with a small group of girls (Steph F., Katie, Jessie, and Amy). We’re working with a local pastor, Vitalic, and the transition homes that he has started. Our ministry is a lot of manual labor… gardening, painting, etc. Despite the exhaustion we’re feeling after almost eleven months of travel, it’s been fun being able to see the immediate results of our hard work. In the next few days we’ll be continuing our efforts to rejuvenate the plot of land and house that belong to Vitalic’s transition home and also spending time ministering to the youth both in the homes and from the town.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we enter the last two weeks of the race. It’s all coming to an end faster than I can comprehend. Pray for a strong finish and a debrief complete with time to process, time to say goodbye, and time to prepare for what’s to come.
