On September 1st we left Panajachel, Guatemala destined for Mexico City. The trip looked something like this…

5 hours from Pana to the Mexico/Guatemala border

4 hours from the border to San Cristobal, Mexico

14 hours from San Cristobal to Mexico City

We arrived in Mexico City on the 2nd and had a delightful two days in the city while the entire squad was reunited after a month apart. But the next leg of the journey soon began, looking something like this…

4 hours from Mexico City to Los Angeles

11 hours from Los Angeles to Taipei, Taiwan

3 hours from Taipei to Bangkok
We arrived safe and sound in Bangkok on the 6th, but left immediately for the island of Koh Samet, which looked something like this…

3 hours from the Bangkok airport to the pier near Rayong

20 minutes from the pier to the island

After almost a week of travel we made it to Koh Samet…. and it was worth every minute!

Now after debriefing, regrouping, and re-energizing, we’re back in bangkok for a couple of nights before we head off to Vietnam. Pray for us as we fliy to Ho Chi Minh City tomorrow morning. Pray for a safe arrival and for our bags, our luggage is only allowed to weigh 15 kilos, which is not much at all, especially when everything you own for the year is in your back.  Wish us lots of packing success!
