Yesterday we said goodbye to our new found friends in Swazi and began our 10 hour ride to Joburg, S. Africa. Our plan was to check our luggage at the bus station, spend the night at a hostel, and leave this morning headed towards Malawi. However, God had other plans. After a major down pour that drenched our packs and a problem with our bank cards we settled into our hostel for the night not knowing when we’d be heading north. As of this afternoon plans have been officially made and we’ll be leaving tomorrow morning on a bus all to ourselves. Tonight we are staying with a ministry contact here in the city and are enjoying a good  home cooked meal before our limited Malawi diet begins.

We will be working in Nhkota Kota, a city in northern Malawi on Lake Malawi (which is said to be beautiful). Team Pi (together for the first time since Cambodia) will be joined by Josh, Tara, and Steph Fisk. We’re all excited to see what God has in store for us. As always, please keep us in your prayers.

And to tied you over until I can post more blogs, here is a little teaser of the many faces we encountered in Swazi….
