We said goodbye to Ho Chi Minh yesterday morning thinking we would be in Cambodia in a mere 6 hours. However, after one of the most unorganized border crossings and sitting in traffic for two hours (there is no bridge over the mekong river, only a ferry which gets very crowded and backed up during national festivals), we arrived in Phnom Penh a few hours later than intended. But, c’est la vie on the world race. Every day is full of surprises. On the plus side our extended bus ride allowed me to finish a book, complete a small art project I’ve been working on, and catch up on my sleep. So, all in all, the day was a success.
We leave again Thursday morning for a four day debrief with our coaches, Seth and Karen. Following our debrief all 32 of us will return to Phnom Penh and then split into our small groups, each staying in the city but each doing a different ministry. Please keep us in your prayers as we debrief our last month, it’s probably been the most stretching month for the majority of us. Pray that we are able to process the past month, relax, and be renewed for October’s ministry.
