Here in Ho Chi Minh we’ve had the opportunity to take part in a variety of outreaches. It’s been a nice change of pace from last month and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being able to sample different ministries. Here’s a little glimpse into what the past week has looked like…
Sunday – spending time loving on the children at an orphanage outside of the city
Monday – sharing cultural differences and playing games with students at a local university
Tuesday – helping students practice English at a coffee shop
Wednesday – assisting elderly ladies in jewelry making
Thursday – being a tourist and visiting some of the sites
Friday – building deeper relationships with the students through games and more English conversation
Saturday – continuing those relationships through an entertaining day at the park
Sunday – teaching Sunday school to eager little learners in a nearby church
Although we’ve had a great week, our time here is not over. Please continue to pray for us as we enter our last week in Vietnam.
