This month is known as Unsung Hero month. Our team has called it the great exchange. One where we get the privilege of scouting out non profit ministries to partner with and serve. It is a win win on both sides of the spectrum.
For us we get to be the eyes, ears and mouth piece for AIM (Adventures In Missions). Being the eyes we actually get to see the needs first hand and how we can impact a community by coming along of them. We get a chance to create an environment for future racers to be stretched so that they can get the most out of their spiritual journey with The Lord. The ears we get to hear their hearts behind the ministry God has called them too. We fell in love with most of the places we visited and really wished we were the team serving instead of finding. The mouth piece we get to discuss real ways to make a difference in people’s lives for eternity. We get the opportunity to share with AIM the amazing Godly people we meet who serve God with everything they have. For them it’s a way to see that we are brothers and sisters in Christ. That we care for the things they care about because we serve the same God he is faithful to provide.

The true heart behind this month is that we are called to make disciples of all nations. We have an opportunity to build relationships and poor out the love of Jesus around the World. The World Race is looking for people who needs a helping hand and opportunities for us both to see the fullness of Christ on earth as it is in heaven. It truly is the greatest exchange ;building each other up and functioning as one body of believers.
