Loving kindness, graciously delightful, beautiful radiant light of Jesus and an amazingly precious example of a very captivating freedom: would be just a few words to describe this AWESOME young lady. She is the real deal! Like the difference between eating with a real spoon and a plastic spoon! You see she made an impression because of her ability to be and show an interdependence in Jesus that I had never seen. One that takes our view off of what we think about ourselves and focuses our view on how our Father sees HIS child! Sam says she discovered god through a plate of salmon. Something so little yet so personal to the revelation of who God was for her and the life example she would soon set for his children in an orphanage on Ometepe island. She realized very quickly that this man we call God our Father is a daddy who cares personally for his children and salmon just happened to be her all time favorite! In this month God broke this mold for me he showed me that I’m his and he’s proud to claim me as his own. He also showed me that nothing I do makes me any more or less his but to just be who he has made me to be. If we look at our father our gene pool looks pretty good! It’s nothing I have to strive to be but it’s who I already am because I am in him and he is in me. Sam also taught me that home can simply be a place where we share the same love for the one we call Jesus. You see the concept of home is not actually a place but (especially on the race) is a resting in where God has you. When resting in him he can provide a “home” anywhere. Next to salvation nothing in life is more important than truly understanding Jesus love for us and for us to claim/walk in our identity in Him. Father I thank you for my sister Sam! Thank you for using her to show me a real tangible knowledge and revelation of the reflection you are in me. Its amazing to think because we are yours we look like you. Sam truly is one beautiful reflection of you! Philemon 1:4-7 “Every time your name comes up in my prayers, I say, “Oh, thank you, God!” I keep hearing of the love and faith you have for The Lord Jesus, which brims over to other believers, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my sister, because the hearts of the believers have been refreshed through you.”
