I leave in 10 days! That’s so completely crazy but it still hasn’t set in yet.
As you may or may not know, our squad’s first country is Colombia and we recently found out that my team, Team FUERTE, will be traveling to Colombia’s third largest city, Colombia!!
From the looks of it, we will dive right in to Evangelism. This may be walking the streets, going door-to-door to share the gospel or putting on church services for the community. Evangelism us definitely not something I feel super comfortable doing, but I’ll have my team and the Lord with me so I know it’ll work out.
As I’m getting ready to go, I am full of nervous excitement and I am so ready to go into this new chapter with my squad!
In TEN days, I will take my one-way ticket and board a plane to Atlanta that will begin my journey and lead to many, many more planes, trains, buses and who knows what else!
But as you know, these kinds of things cost. So, I am about $6,000 away from being fully funded and $2,400 away from my next goal of $13,000!! (I know that number at the top of my blog page doesn’t reflect that because a few donations haven’t processed yet, but they’re coming!)
I know. $13,000. $16,617. Those are big, scary numbers. Especially when it comes to money.. But, $10,559 is also a big, scary number and the Lord has already provided that much!!!
So, moving forward, I have until February 28th to gain another $2,441.
Rather than asking you to give blindly, I am now asking that you would think about doing a little more. I am looking for 10 people to come alongside me and commit to giving $10, $25, or $50 a month for the next 4 months ONLY.
