Growing Up, I was always told that the word “Christian” meant “Little Christ”. Meaning that we as Christians are called to literally be little versions of Jesus, that we are to mirror Jesus’ behavior in our lives.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:35
These are Jesus’ words on how we ought to go about being like him. By loving one anther.
But, who did Jesus love?
I came across this video on Facebook today and it perfectly embodies what Jesus has been putting on my heart the past couple of weeks. And since, I don’t have the gift of being good with words, I’ll just let this video explain.
As Christians we are called to seek out the hurting and lost sheep and bring them the love of Jesus Christ, that everyone so desperately needs.
I am coming to understand this more and more and I want to be the person who goes to the hard places, with hurting people and bring them Jesus’s love.
I encourage every Christian to look at the way they live, look at their life and think, am I showing Christ’s love to those who need it?
Can people tell that I am a follower of Christ by the way that I LOVE?
