Let me begin by saying that I am extremely blessed. Probably more so than I ever have been. I feel like that word is sometimes overused and undervalued, but it's the best way to say it. Since my last blog post (a fundraising update) I have been pushed above and beyond my 3rd financial deadline! The generosity I have received through all of my supporters is simply mind blowing. I am daily humbled by the support I have received. I could tell you story after story of how God has been there for me so far, and maybe I will! But first, I need to thank YOU.
My supporters are amazing. Much more than that, but there isn't an adequate way for me to convey my gratitude towards them. I could sit here and list every synonym I found in the thesaurus for "amazing" to show how thankful I am, but it would take at least 2 blog posts. I want to thank my supporters for everything they have given me so far. Not just the donations, but also the conviction that this is God's plan for me that I have received. I would not be here without you. Through you, God has been showing me the path He's laid out before me. He has given me the slight glimpse of what He has for me over this next year. And to every bit of insight, He has added a ton of drive and passion. God has been working though you, whether you realized it or not! Regardless of how much you gave or what you were thinking when you did it, God has been working through you. So, from the very bottom of my heart, I thank you.
This post is not about me, however, This post is about my brand new family. They're a funny bunch. All 45 them are just about as crazy and ridiculous as I am (almost). And each one of them is on fire for God in the most spectacular ways. In the 5 short weeks that I've known them, they've already impacted and challenged me in ways I didn't think possible. And we're not even out of the country yet! I look up to them, I laugh with them, I've cried with them, I'm traveling the world with them, and I love them to death.
The thing is, my new family needs some help. Some of them don't have all of the funds necessary to launch in September. They're a bit short. So here is my plea to you, whomever you are, would you consider helping these wonderful people make it to Launch?
Before you ask, the answer is "No, I am not fully funded." But that's ok. Like I said earlier, I'm blessed beyond belief. Through you, God is meeting my needs. I know God always comes through and, when the time comes, I will be alright. But right now I'm more concerned about getting everyone to Guatemala.

If you don't feel led to support them financially, please pray that people who God has to support them will be sensitive to His call on their lives.
