There were a many loud voices speaking and singing Thai to me at 6:52 this morning. I was not sleeping, though. Aaron (who has been reading Celebration of Discipline) and I had been awake since 5:30, and had already run about 3 miles, gotten ready for the day and were moving into devotions next to the fan. The voices are there nearly every morning, but 6:52 is eight minutes early. After a quick prep for the day including an act, songs, and other things like these that children love to watch crazy Americans do, we head to the primary school for our first day of ministry outside of the church (across the street from where we stay).
The Thai kids are better than the American ones at Red Light Green Light.
In other news, yesterday I met Babar. He’s not nearly as kind as those books make him out to be (the picture can certainly testify to that), but I was a bit impressed to discover that he does in fact talk.
