Hello again!   We are finished with our training in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  Today, we head out for San Juan, still in the DR.  We will be going to Haiti next month, due to a slight change in our route.  In San Juan, we will be doing ministry with a local pastor, mostly evangelism through VBS, putting together block parties, etc.

There have been other route changes as well.  We will not be going to Turkey, unfortunately, as that area is not stable right now. Instead, we will be going to somewhere in eastern Europe.  Also, instead of it being Carribean to Ireland to Asia to Africa to Europe, we now go to Europe right after Ireland, then Africa, then Asia last.
This week has  been pretty awesome.  We had training with Michael Hindes and other AIM staff, and spent time settling into life on the race. The place we stayed had electricity and running water!!  Both would occassionally cut off with no warning, but still.  Pretty nice for race life.  We are going to a similar place, though Seth and I will probably have to tent.  There´s only 20 beds for 45 racers.  But, we can shower.  So that´s good.
Yesterday, we had a day off and went to the beach.  It was amazing, the water was so clear!  But, there were jellyfish, so as soon as I saw that, I got out.  No jellyfish for me.  It was a lot of fun.
I hate mentioning this in every blog, but we are still in need of $18,210.  We will be sent home if the money does not come in.  Right now, there´s now set deadline (I believe we have until right after Ireland, so a month and a half), but we need continued support.  Thank you so much for anything you can do, and for listening to God´s leading in this.
My internet time is almost out.  I hope to be able to post pictures and video soon!
