Hello everyone! It is so exciting to be writing to you from my couch with parents in the same space as me and my dog walking around the house.

I have not been very present on my blog since the beginning of my final month of the Race (I’m sorry!) but as those last weeks caught up with me I really wanted to embrace my last moments on the race.

Over the next week or so I hope to post some of the written and unposted blogs, share videos that went unshared, and catch you up on my final month of the Race and what re-entry has been like. But before that, I’ll share a brief update now!

Final debrief came incredibly quick; it was so filling to reflect on our year, experiences, growth, and relationships together as a squad. To all be in one place for the last time was truly a gift. Oh, N squad, I can’t even put into words how thankful I am for you all.

My squad and I landed in Florida on August 21 and my amazing family met me in Florida to spend some time with me before I returned to Virginia. I was much needed and so so good, it felt like 11 months had passed and at the same time felt like it was only 11 days since we said goodbye. We got to lay on the beach, ride bikes, go fishing, and group up to take a photo from dad’s drone!

I am back in Central Virginia and plan to stay in the area for the next season of my life, whatever that looks like!

I feel like I am in a “starting over” phase, as I have returned with virtually no plans, no job, no car, very little money, and for a few weeks I had no phone (I have a new number). I am trusting the Lord to provide! He hasn’t failed me yet. I am praying for a job opportunity to present itself soon, praying for the Lord to provide a car, and being expectant of the Lord to give me guidance as I look around for whats next. I’m doing all that I can to get going on those things and it feels good to be back; I’m ready to take on this next season!

As I write, post, and share about the end of my race, I want to hear from you and answer any questions you have. Please don’t hesitate to email, text, or call me – or even stop by, I would love to see you. If I get a good amount of questions, I’ll post a whole blog answering the big and small, serious and silly. Really, no question is too crazy, I’ve already answered some wild ones. I promise I’ll be answering the big What’s Next? soon. (Ya know, as soon as I know).

I can’t believe this season is over but I wanted to give one last THANK YOU shout out to each and every person reading this update. My journey would not have been possible without you and your support and even in the conversations I have had upon my return I have learned that the web of support and prayer and encouragement was even bigger than I knew. So thank you, so so much. Thank you.

If you are in the Central VA area and know of any job opportunities, people selling good cars for cheap (or free?), friends looking for baby sitters, in need of a house sitter for the weekend, need a less than mediocre Spanish translator, need someone to clean your bathrooms and fold your laundry… You get the point, I’m your girl!
