Here’s a blurry photo of me because I’m so excited –

I AM FULLY FUNDED!

This time last year I had just committed to the Race and was brainstorming how the heck I would raise almost $17,000. Today I am in Cambodia, fully funded and doing what the Lord has called me to.

It still sounds crazy to say that even when deadlines were approaching, I could put my confidence in the Lord’s provision and in the overwhelming support I received from you all. $17,000? Maybe it’s because I’m not a real grown-up yet, but that amount still sounds really big and unrealistic.

I have no other words to say than Thank you.

You all have seriously amazed me with how supportive and encouraging you have been. Just last week my incredible family sent me a surprise birthday video with tons of friends and family sending their love and birthday wishes. Today I had emails of donations that closed the gap and put me at my last financial goal. Somedays really are harder than others. Being away from home is tough. But you all have shown me such an outpouring of love that reminds me I am in this with the best team of supporters.

The morning I knew I had reached my $10,000 deadline – the deadline that determined if we would be able to launch with our squad – I read Psalm 111, and stacked an Ebenezer on that moment to remember the Lord’s goodness and provision. I am singing these praises again today.

Psalm 111

 Praise the Lord.

 I will extol the Lord with all my heart

    in the council of the upright and in the assembly.

 Great are the works of the Lord;

    they are pondered by all who delight in them.
Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
    and his righteousness endures forever.
He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
    the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
He provides food for those who fear him;
    he remembers his covenant forever.

He has shown his people the power of his works,
    giving them the lands of other nations.
The works of his hands are faithful and just;
    all his precepts are trustworthy.
They are established for ever and ever,
    enacted in faithfulness and uprightness.
He provided redemption for his people;
    he ordained his covenant forever—
    holy and awesome is his name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
    all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
    To him belongs eternal praise.

I am blown away and I am blessed to be able to praise the Lord for this sweet victory. I get to finish the Race with this victory under my belt. I literally would not be here if it wasn’t for your support. So thank you, again and again and again.

Sending so much love from Cambodia!
