WORLD RACE TRAINING CAMP!!
If you are on September Routes 1,2, or 3 you will be attending Training Camp Week #1 and your dates are:
July 12th – July 19th
If you are on September Routes 4 or 5 or WR Gap Year you will be attending Training Camp Week #2 and your dates are:
July 19th – July 26th
READ THE INFO BELOW VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING A FLIGHT
(WR MEN: You will be getting a separate e-mail from your Mobilizer. Hold off on booking your flight until you get that e-mail.)
If you are planning to FLY in for Training Camp:
ARRIVE in Atlanta, GA (Hartsfield-Jackson Int. – ATL) no later than 2 PM on Saturday, July 12th OR Saturday, July 19th (depending on which week of camp your route is assigned to.)
Meet at the Atlanta Chophouse in the Atrium of the airport (there will be signs and people in WR T-Shirts).
An AIM shuttle will transport you from the airport to Camp. Please get your bags and head to the atrium quickly once you land. The shuttle will be departing the airport at 3 PM SHARP!!
DEPART from Atlanta, GA (ATL) no earlier than 2 PM on Saturday, July 19th OR Saturday, July 26th (depending on which week of camp your route is assigned to.)
If You are Planning on DRIVING in for Training Camp:
We’re working on two different locations that are a both about an 1 hour outside of Atlanta. Due to construction and unexpected weather delays, the site that we are hoping to use may or may not be ready by July. If it is not, we have a back-up location that we will hold camp at. Once we are 100% sure of which location we’ll be using, we’ll send out another blog/e-mail with the exact address.
Here’s some info that will still help you plan a bit though….. if you’re driving in you’ll need to arrive in the late afternoon on Saturday, July 12th OR Saturday, July 19th (depending on which week of camp your route is assigned to.)
Plan to depart from Training Camp no earlier than Noon on Saturday, July 19th OR Saturday, July 26th (depending on which week of camp your route is assigned to.)
