Hey team!
I was listening to a sermon that my friend sent me the other day. It really put things into perspective for me. The speaker talked about how as Christians we often get the impression that we are supposed to be sweet and strive to keep peace but God is actually calling us to be DANGEROUS to the enemy, to take RISKS, and to TRUST that He is in control. It made me think a lot about our team. I am praying that God prepares each one of our hearts for everything we are going to encounter, that he will build us up and unite us so that we can act as the body, and that He will make us BOLD and DANGEROUS to the enemy. I believe God is going to use this team in ways that none of us could have ever dreamed of and that we will all have our personal experiences but we are also going to experience UNITY like never before, we are going to become a true army of God entering each new territory with purpose and expectation.
I want to encourage everyone to really press in during their personal time with God. I have been so challenged with that for quite some time. I am working and in my last semester of college and feel like I don’t have a minute to rest but the moment I decided that no matter what, I was going to start my day by spending alone time with God (whether it meant waking up at 5am, missing breakfast, being late…….) everything seemed to fall into place. I stopped feeling so overwhelmed and I have seen so many answers to prayer. He wants to bless us, we just have to let Him :).
I am so excited for what is to come! I can handle this whole blogging thing for a while but I CAN NOT WAIT TO MEET ALL OF YOU IN PERSON!
