Hey new family….I’ve struggled with whether to write this blog or not
since we barely know one another but feel encouraged when I’ve read
others on the team being open about their lives and thought I’d also
ask for some prayers my way….
Two years ago the Lord took my fiance home to be with Him in heaven
unexpectedly…the two year anniversary of his death was this past
Thursday (July 8th)…also on that same day my mom packed up my
childhood home and moved from Ohio to Chicago, IL to a new job which
will involved moving into an orphanage and becoming a live in “parent”
to children in need…..also on that very same day (July 8th) my dad
left his home in Tucson, AZ and moved to GERMANY to follow a job he
applied for months ago….I cannot help thinking that it is a big
ironic that three very major transitions for my life all occurred ON
THE SAME DAY…
God has been incredibly amazing in helping me accept these transitions,
reminding me that He is my family and even though distance occurs that
He is constant and He is taking care of all of my needs daily! So
anyway all that to say that I’d LOVE your prayers as I deal with the
difficulties of big life changes and as I get excited about leaving on
The World Race. I appreciate all of you on the team and really look
forward to meeting you in person very soon!
