Hey guys!
My 23 year old sister, Michelle, is at a point in her life where she desires to surrender to God. I know that she feels the Holy Spirit convicting her and desires to listen to that “whisper” that God has put in her heart. She asked me to share a little bit of what’s going on in her life with everyone on this blog so that you can pray for her =)….
She is currently in a relationship and has been with her boyfriend for almost 5 years. She hasn’t been at peace lately and she feels like she has a mental block. She’s asking for prayer and wisdom in regards to decisions that she has to make. She’s willing to do whatever God wants her to do, but she’s not sure what exactly.
She loves her boyfriend but they are not growing as a couple towards God in the relationship. She feels like she needs to be there for her boyfriend because if she leaves he could fall into deep depression. He is currently addicted to marijuana and he has been having constant dreams about war and has encounters with spirits/ghost. Her boyfriend believes in God, but does not have a personal relationship with Him. He tends to pick and choose from Christianity and come up with his own philosophy.
The pickle is that she lives with him and they financially depend on each other.
She knows there needs to be change and she wants to depend on God. She truly loves her boyfriend and is grateful for all that he has done for her.
Overall, could you please pray for wisdom, clarity and boldness for her to obey God. And pray that God will move in her boyfriend’s life as well.
