Update: my squad and I have made it safely to Quito Ecuador!! On our long voyage here there are a couple things I learned:
1.) Always stay comfy by cozying up with your pals during a 7 hour layover.

?
Or stay comfy on plane rides by creating a blanket cocoon for yourself like so…

?
2.) After much deliberation It was decided Abby and Caela are the Nick and Jess to my Schmidt

?
3.)Tech decks are “back”? and Carter has (once again) taken it too far
?
4.)Abby has an unhealthy obsession with Froggy

?
And 5.) I SUPER love my new home

?
And my new fam!

?

So thank you so much for your all your prayers and support getting me here! I am beyond grateful for all of you.
Here are a few quick updates about my trip. On Wednesday just before midnight we arrived in Quito and were able to meet our hosts Mabe and fabe. We all immediately loved them, they are the best! They are so generous, kind hearted, loving, and so much fun. My whole squad is staying at casa Blanca but each team will be doing ministry separate. My team, team Hope, will be helping at an after school program for underprivileged children in the community Monday’s-Wednesday, Thursday we will be assisting at a senior living facility, and Friday’s we will be at casa Blanca helping our hosts however we can. I am super stoked about all God has in store for me and my squad and look forward to being able to keep you all updated weekly with what is going on!
P.S sorry this got posted so late I had some technical difficulties!
