Hey friends!

So I am now completely finished with my Freshmen year of college… WOOHOOO! (can I get an Hallelujah?) So now that school is done my main focus is THE WORLD RACE GAP YEAR! Time for another WOOHOOO!(for more information about the world race gap year check out the about section of my blog or go to https://www.worldrace.org/gapyear/). I am so beyond excited to experience life so fully on this trip, serve others, share the good news of the gospel, and see all that God has in store for the next year of my life. Unfortunately the beautiful start to this journey has not felt oh so beautiful, it has felt more like waiting, and trusting, and patience, and more trusting, and it has just been really hard. I find myself becoming easily overwhelmed and in constant need of the reminder that everything is in Gods hands. All of it from fundraising, to vaccinations, to the travel details, he holds it all and if this is where he is calling me, which I believe it is, he will make a way! Even just writing it out is such a good reminder and allows me to surrender the way I think this process should look and walk securely trusting where God is leading me in the small here and now moments. And as If that reminder isn’t enough, this past week I watched some of my biggest worries be put to rest. When I was worried about money for the summer and a summer job, what do you know the day I get home from school I get a text about a potential job. As I worried about all the gear I would need to buy and how expensive it would be… BOOM GOD was there because guess what? Turns out my mom has most of the gear that I need, like the exact kind and size and so on. LIKE WHAT THIS IS CRAZY! Then as I am literally flipping a lid on the inside about fundraising and money I find out someone has made a very generous donation!!! LIKE YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING! Tell me do we serve a perfect, awesome, mighty, faithful, and wonderful God or what?!?!? Man oh man he is good, and this is just the beginning! I cannot wait to see how he will continue to provide and just knock my socks off with how awesome he is, and I hope you will stay tuned to hear all about it! If you would like to hear more about the trip from me personally I would be happy to meet and answer any and all questions you have and tell you all about my trip! Also if you feel at all led to give 1.) it would be so greatly appreciated and 2.) you can do so on this website at the top of the page where it says donate! And if you cannot support financially your prayers are greatly appreciated , even if you do decide to give financially please also consider praying for me as I prepare for this trip! Thank you all for taking the time to read this and for any and all forms of support it is so appreciated, and I can truly say I could not do this without your generosity and care! So thanks again, and have a super spectacular day!!!
