parents in the world. There is no
man or women I have more respect and love for than my mother and father. My parents have been married nearly 30
years and they have given me everything they didn’t have. After earning my Degree I became a Wilderness Guide working
in different capacities all over the US.
I mainly worked with “troubled youth.” (kids that just needed some love) I worked in Wilderness therapy for 2
years prior to my first WorldRace in 2007.
I grew up understanding the principles of God but I disliked
religion. As I became older I
found myself becoming what I didn’t like; someone who professed Christ but who
really didn’t know him. Once I
became dry and desperate I called out to him and soon after The World-Race
found me! During my training in
2007 I had a literal supernatural encounter with him that changed my life.
from. Currently my spirit is sick
for a dream to come to pass. To
see a generation, a sleeping giant, come fully alive! This dream was deposited in me on that day at training camp when
Jesus invaded me and gave me new life. I believe the tipping point for mighty
moves in cultures and nations rests in the heart one. There is rumor spreading in the hearts of “men,” a rumor of
more and endless possibilities through Christ.
It seems that prior to the World-Race I was someone else. I
barely recognize myself when I look at photos or watch videos. I ask myself, “how did I not know, how
did I miss it?” I even wonder what
I may not know now. But the bottom
line is, I’m wrecked for this message of hope, for the nations foreign and
domestic. I’ve said it before, “my
normal has completely changed!”
I believe and hope I’ll never be able to shake what God has
deposited in my heart through experience, encounters, and the people in the
world! I feel I know less than
I’ve ever known… I thank God, it keeps me dependent on Him. But I’m more secure in who I am and my
purpose in life then I’ve ever been.
There is no beauty, no truth, no logic like Christ. He is perfect theology and nothing has
captivated my heart more than my God!
Jesus is no longer good theory but reality, no more religion just
Christ!
I’m beginning to understand why the Gospel is summed up in
one command, “Love the Lord your God with all you heart, and with all your
soul, and with all you strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as
yourself. My life has been made
this simple- it’s a revelation that’s changing my life everyday.
Alaska to Mexico. Cooking is one
of my greatest passions. I blew
glass for a number of years during high school and college. I’m equally goofy as I am serious. My favorite food is probably a Carne Asada
burrito or Tikka Masala Indian food with a tall stack of nan bread. I like my food so spicy it burns. I love movies, especially drama’s that
pull at the heart and make you think.
I’m a confrontational person and promote the freedom of
transparency. A few men who have
really inspired me through their teachings and readings is Martin Luther King
Jr, Bill Johnson, and Brother Yun from the book “Heavenly Man.” I’ve been to
over 20 countries. Studied martial
Arts around 8/9 years when I was a child, boxed in College for 2, and did the crew (rowing) team for 1 ½ years. I will always be a Mama’s boy! I love photography and making videos- I’m trying to develop my skill everyday. And when I was a young child I had a
bean stuck in my ear for 3 years. =) It’s true!
