It’s official... I’m a “Georgiaian!”   I made the move to Georgia just a few days ago.

It’s been a whirlwind this past month.  I transitioned out of Spain, went to
Ireland for a World Race event, flew home, packed up and moved to Georgia.

As I’ve mentioned in previous blogs, this was not a small or
light decision. This has been 2 years in the coming.  It’s a joy and privilege to be on staff with the World
Race.  I truly am so glad to be
here!  God has had such grace on
me, and I’m overwhelmed at the blessings that continue to come my way!  The feeling of “being on time” only
deepens!

In my previous blogs I told you that I would tell you what
my job description is:

Titles aren’t really important in my opinion, but on my job
description it says; Development Coordinator. Overall I’ll be doing all I can
to assist within three areas of development.
(To save you from unnecessary details I cut this down a
bunch)
1.
Leadership Development
  •      Serve
inside the field support team to help with continued leadership  development
    strategies.  Specifically assisting
with the development of male  squad-leaders and team-leaders.
2.
Media Development
  •      Development,
editing, and the producing quarterly WR videos.
3.
Training
  •      Function as a trainer at training camps
  •      Facilitate, activate, and release participants.  Assisting with teaching and
    facilitating Word Race culture.
  •      Serve inside the training department- May include
    traveling for launches and debriefs.
 I’ve been asked
more then a few times recently “so are you getting paid?”  Answer is yes and no.
All World Race staff live a “support-based” lifestyle.   The World Race matches a
percentage and staff is expected to “raise” a percentage.  To support me it’s the same process of
when I was on the Race.  Just click
the Support me button to the left. My 12 month goal is $12,000!  You will always see my current status
just as you did last year in the menu bar.  I can’t even express my thankfulness to those who have
supported me and what they believe God is doing in me and through me.  I was telling some friends the other
day that’s it such an incredible feeling to “be seen.”  That you know people see who you are
and believe in you!  It’s because
of you and people like you that I am where I am; friends, family,
strangers…thank you!  I don’t mean
just financial but moral and prayerful support!! It might sounf like a tag line
just to through in there!  But I’m
serious!  For those who have said,
“I believe in you- I see who you are,”
has fueled my heart!  I get
to do the very thing I believe so much in!  It’s a great way to go to “work” everyday!

I won’t lie….
I’m little nervous!  I’ve asked
myself, “why?”  But I don’t know if
I can come up with an answer!  I
don’t even know if nervous is the right word- because I have such peace.  It’s the same feeling I had before I
went to college, or before I did the race each time, before I went to Spain,
leaving Spain, doing a few other things that really stretched me! I get this
feeling in the small things also.
I don’t know.. but it’s odd because it’s a weird comfort!  Somehow I know it’s not negative but a
positive.  Huhh maybe it’s Faith.
Who knows?! I know this; I’m serious about this next season and am ALL IN!  Maybe I feel this way, because it’s not
just a job, and I have a little bit of perspective as to what this is all
about!  Even when I can feel
insecure, not enough, something keeps me in motion and I badly desire to do the
best job possible!!

So I go in
saying to my self;
“Gifting and
Character Sean… Gifting and Character Sean… it’s in the small- the secret place
that no-one sees between you and I -God… come on Sean.. gifting and CHARACTER…
keep going… don’t stop… find it find it find it… no matter the praise- no
matter the scorn- you and your Father know.. another step… Be relentless!

Just want to
make HIM proud ya know??

Thank you God
for another opportunity…..
