Ireland

I never would have thought I’d ever see such countries in my
lifetime. Sometimes it doesn’t
even feel like I’m in another country. This last week I was invited to assist the August 2009
World-Race Squad launch in Dublin Ireland.

Ireland reminded me of my home, Washington State. Very green, consistent cloud cover
with the reminder that it could rain at any moment.

There were nearly 90 World Racers present. They were very excited and nervous all
at the same time. I don’t think it
had hit them yet that they left home for an entire year and are embarking on a
journey around the world.

We spent the week pouring into every single person. Helping them join as teams and embrace
what God has in store for them.    

The time I spent in Ireland was very life giving. I had the chance to spend time with my
co-leader, Andi Wendel, and dear friends of mine, Allison Johnston, Jimmy McCarty,
Scott and Carol Pitt’s and Chuck and Selena Day.
