Hello All! I am sorry that it has taken me so long to update the blog. It has been a very busy past few weeks, but I wanted to do an update now.
As the title says, the first financial deadline has been met! God is so good and I have been blessed by a wonderful group of people gathering around to support me in this ministry. I will be sending out thank you notes soon, but I am home in Springfield this weekend and I wanted to hand-deliver as many as possible.
Training camp is coming up October 15-25, and I am so excited to meet my teammates in person. We’ve been getting to know each other online, but we are all getting excited to see each other in the flesh and start that fun/awkward process of building relationships face-to-face.
I just want to say thank you to everyone. You have all been so loving and supportive so far. The encouragement, the smiles, and the enthusiasm that you have shared has made a big difference.
