Our time in Costa Rica was absolutely amazing. Costa Rica is a beautiful country with a large United States influence. It was nice to be blessed with running water, beds, a nice house, grocery stores, and malls during the holiday season. I was especially blessed to meet so many great people, we were able to work with numerous churches in the San Jose area. This is some of the things we were able to do this month.
We put a roof on a church house for four square church.
I was able to do a little welding and a lot of sanding. It was nice to use some of the skills that God has blessed me with in order to bless his church. Welding was cool, but sanding took a little elbow grease. We sanded practically the whole roof with sanding paper, that was until I had enough and went to the local hardware store and bought a sanding disk for the grinder. We were able to cover a lot more ground with the grinder. I also want to praise God for being my protector. While I was grinding, the grinder slipped off the metal and jerked into my shoe. It cut through my shoe like butter, but never touched my toe. It happened in an instant and was millimeters away from cutting through my toe. So thank you God for being my protector. As for as the roof project, it wasn’t easy, but it’ll provide shelter for the church house for many years to come.

Handed out Christmas Gifts to impoverished kids:

We worked with Helping Hand ministries to feed and hand out gifts to the local kids. This was an interesting experience because we had no idea what we were going to do when we left the house. It was just another example of how God establishes the steps of man. Before we left our house, I didn’t even know Helping Hands existed. We started the day off in prayer and asked God to create divine appointments. We left the house with a soccer ball and two hula hoops with plans to play with the local kids. We ended up finding all the kids to be in one location. There we connected with the Helping Hand organization and were able to feed and hand out gifts to kids. This divine appointment not only allowed us to make a difference in the kids lives, but also allowed us to meet people that would change the shape of our month.
