The laughter started immediately when we walked in the door. It was loud, uncontrolled laughter coming from the women   working in the restaurant. We ignored her and proceeded to look for a place to sit. The restaurant was small, with only three cabins, and one girl working all three. Sarah poked her head into the first cabin and saw it clearly would fit only two people, not enough space to fit Sarah, Morgan and I. Sarah looked into the second cabin and saw it would fit us all, but just barely. The cabin was small, I wouldn’t be able to stretch my arms out in any direction fully without hitting the walls surrounding us. When I tried to walk into the cabin, I could barely fit through the small door. My shoulders were too wide to walk straight through and I was barely able to fit side ways with my backpack on. As we finally all sat down, the laughter from the women at the restaurant grew louder and more rambunctious. She called out to someone else in Nepalese, a man who immediately added to the sound of laughter inside the restaurant. It was clear we didn’t belong in this restaurant, but that was because this was no ordinary restaurant, but a cabin restaurant, which is essentially a brothel.

The reason we were at the cabin restaurant was to evangelize to the girls who where working at the restaurant. We quickly realized that the women working at this restaurant didnt speak any english and we were without a translator and started to lose a little hope that we would be able to further Gods kingdom at that restaurant . Sure we could pray for the people there and the restaurant itself, but we want to talk to someone to help bring them to God. Thats when a Man walked into our booth to take our order, and thats when all three of us realized why we were at this cabin restaurant.

We had expectations that we were suppose to talk the women who worked at these cabin restaurants but God had a different plan for us, his plan. We invited this man to talk to us, he was in his early thirties with slicked back greased hair that went to his shoulders. He had a mustache that looked like a 12 year old had grown it out, and was wearing a brown leather jacket. He looked like a stereotypical pimp and that what he was. he told us that he owned and managed the restaurant. We started with small talk and started to get into more serious conversation, until I finally asked him if he knew who Jesus Christ was, His respond blew me away.

He responded a little, but I want to know more. I became giddy with joy, I love evangelizing and this is the first time I had the opportunity to evangelize to someone who wanted it. I was able to go very deep with this man and about what Christianity is and what it means to be a christian. I even started talking about what is truth in our religion and I could feel the holy spirit moving the whole time. Although when Sara, Morgan and I walked out of this cabin restaurant we hadn’t saved this man, or got him to shut down his restaurant, but we were able to show this man for the first time who Jesus Christ is, and how Jesus loved him.
