Some of the stuff we have been doing while in the Philippines ok the day we arrived we where met buy or contact his name was Jeremy moody He was a really nice guy after that we got on a bus and he had bought all of us McDonald’s for breakfast it was awesome to have McDonald’s he had bought us sausage and egg McMuffin it was one of the greatest McMuffin I had ever had so then we set off for about 3 hour bus ride to the Orphanage where we did our ministry for the month there where about 30 kids or so that lived there it was sorta in the mountains it was really beautiful there. The name of the org. was K.I.M. that stands for kids international ministry.
Some of the things that they had us to do where building a fence , painting, sifting sand, doing a lot of plastering on the house the finish was was really rough so we used the plaster to smooth the walls for painting, so we painted one house and the other house they had a full-time work crew there to do most of that work on the other house .the other house had a time it had to be done because there was another team coming in at the last of the month they where called Morrison Academy they came In and helped us run a week long camp for the kids at the Orphanage and kids from the surrounding villages. The first day of the camp there where about 400 kids or so that showed up plus we fed all the kids everyday the camp was going on so in the morning’s we would have to help cook for the day.
On our days off we would do different things the first day we where off they had scooters there that we could ride so me and Kaleb got on the scooters and we rode them to town to look around a little bit we found a little store and we had a coke and then we took off for some more fun on the scooters we rode through town and then we headed back toward the camp where we where staying but we got there and decided to ride a little bit longer. Ok the next day we where off we went and rode the scooters again this time we went to town for a couple of hours and we went to the internet cafÈ and checked mail and stuff like that . then we where served lunch at a friends house that worked for the camp her name was Grace that is after lunch he took us for a ride on the scooters to some waterfalls they where beautiful we where there for about 2 hours then we headed back to the camp on the way we stopped and had a coke and he told us that he owned a banana farm up in the mountains so we took off to see his farm we took some great pictures while we where there and that was a day and we headed back to the camp .
Also another thing we did was help watch the kids and babies we where normaly in there for 6 hour shifts unless you got a night shift and you where in there for 8 hours it was really fun helping with the kids.
I am still need of $1000.00 if there is any way you can help me please pray about this thank you very much I have 7 days left to be fully funded so any thing you can do would really help.
