My full name is Alfonso Scott Perez, but most people call me Scott.
– I am a Texas State graduate with a degree in Advertising
– I am from Conroe, TX but San Marcos, TX is my second home
– I still am not the best at grammar, spelling or punctuation. Just a heads up to anyone who reads my blog.
– I’m half Mexican and American. My friends make fun of me for having piñatas at my birthday.
– I have the best friends and family a guy could ask for.
– I have a tattoo that says Redeemed, which is a constant reminder to myself of God’s grace and the blood Jesus shed for my sins so that I can walk in newness daily.
– I’d like to say I am a fun, adventurous and a down to Earth guy.
– I love Whataburger, gummy bears, pineapple and I try to eat healthy as much as possible.
– I am told that I can be pretty creative, funny, and personable but one way I would describe my self is weird. This is because all my friends are weird and we bring it out in one another.
– I grew up knowing that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sins because he loved me but I never fully took in the impact of that sacrifice until college. At Texas State The Lord captivated me by his love and transformed my life for the better. I have joy, hope, and confidence all thanks to my gracious father.
Not going to lie it’s hard at times for me to describe myself, so I thought it’d be great for everyone to know who I am through the eyes of the people who mean so much to me and those who have shaped me into the guy I am today:

-“When I think of my best friend Scott Perez three main things come to my mind. They are compassion, loyalty, and last but not least love. When it comes to compassion Scott is one of the most compassionate people I know. He has compassion for basically every person and every thing he comes in contact with, which in itself is very rare. He is loyal beyond what anyone could ask for. If I needed him at a moment he was really swamped with life He would drop whatever it was and help me out. No matter the situation. I think when it comes to Scott Perez love carries over in his everyday life…his love for his savior Jesus Christ, His love for his friends, and his love for those he has never met and for those he can get nothing from. I would without a doubt say that Scott Perez is the most genuine person you could and would ever meet.”
