Well this past week I had training camp and what an awesome experience it was!!! It was intense but you know what else is in tents…camping! hahah!
From:
-being stuck at an airport for 5 hrs
-learning to set up a tent
-meeting my squad
-eating food from different countries
-sleeping on a bus
-swimming across a lake with a log above the water (almost drowning)
-being strengthened in my faith
-releasing my earthly comforts
-worshipping God with my new brothers and sisters
-having fun games of what are the odds
-dancing every chance I had
-winning squad wars!!!! L SQUAD ALL THE WAY!!
-forming inside jokes
-and last but not least, growing in love for The Lord and my whole squad.
I know without a doubt God placed each of us on this team for a reason and I couldn’t have asked for a more faithful, bold, loving, crazy, fun, encouraging and God fearing group of world changers.
SOOOO PUMPED!!!! 5 weeks till I leave and I can in all honesty say…I can’t wait!!!
These 5 people pictured below are who I will be calling family for the next 11 months. Each of these individuals bring a special gift to our team and I am so ready to learn, grow, laugh, cry and share life with each one of them!! We like to call ourselves the Hungry Youngsters because we each are the youngest of our families and we all have a deep hunger for more of God!!
