When we came in DEAD LAST in leg number 3, we were incredibly blessed. The winning team received 100 dollars. Fifty to spend on themselves and fifty to give to another team to support a ministry.
Team Zeo won, and they gave us, Team Nessa, 50 dollars. This works out to a little over 150 soles. With that money we have bought 12 bibles at 13 soles each. These bibles are being distributed around Tumpa, and we will bring them into Utupampa when Team Nessa goes there on Monday.
Altogether so far, we have bought and plan to distribute 56 bibles, and will pick up 40 more when they come in next week.
Right now these bibles are being paid for out of various pockets and personal accounts. If anyone wants to contribute, now or in the future, that would be great, because I love the ministry that comes from this. Maybe someday I will become a bible smuggler. That sounds fun. Just comment below for ideas on how to buy more or how to contribute, I have not talked about the ministry fund yet with Serena, because I am just thinking as I write.
