I can't believe that my time here in Ukraine has already come to an end, and with that the ninth month of this journey is coming to a close. Looking back at what I thought I would experience on the World Race, many things that I had envisioned have been close to what I thought they would be, yet still I find myself surprised by how God has ways that are often quite different than my own.
Coming into the country of Ukraine, one would think that interacting with and ministering with primary people from Ukraine would be the main focus, but that has not been my experience. This month we have been working at a camp called Pine Crest which is part of a ministry called Jeremiah's Hope, it is ran by an awesome American couple named Andrew and Jenny Kelley. They have been in both been in Ukraine for well over a decade, and have ran this camp for the past four years.
Most of our ministry this month has been to help out with various weekend retreats that they have hosted at the camp helping cook prepare meals, do laundry, and help get cabins cleaned out, and doing some painting, varnishing, and other construction work at their new rescue house, apparently the Ukrainian government is in the process of closing down all of the orphanages around the country, so homes like this will play a key role to giving children a safe and loving environment to live in.
Here are some pictures from the day we did a mobile dental clinic through a ministry called MercyTrucks which provides free dental/health care to people throughout Ukraine and other parts of the world. I had the opporunity to assit one of the dentist for the day.

Tomorrow we depart for a 24 hour train ride to our stop in Budapest, Hungary, before we make it to our final destination of Arad, Romania on Monday. So please keep myself and the team in your prayers as we travel the next few days, and then enter into our tenth month of ministry in Romania.
