Here we are in Tauranga (Toe-Run-Ga)! Right now we have two different priorities. First, we are working at a local church named Changepoint. We are attending daily prayer/worship sessions with the Tauranga House of Prayer. Right now that is about four hours per day, but their ultimate goal is to have round-the-clock prayer. After prayer, we split up into two groups. One group stays at the church and works on general improvements including cleaning, painting, and demolition. We have been so impressed with the people at this church. They are so hospitable, fun, and alive in the Holy Spirit. We couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with over these next couple weeks.

The second group is doing preparation out at Bethlehem College for the YWAM Jubilee and Call2All conferences (on a side note, what they refer to as a college here is actually K-12). We are switching around a bit, so everyone is getting a chance to do many different jobs throughout this process. We’re having a great time so far… can’t wait to see what the conferences will be like.

Surprisingly, our living conditions have been pretty nice. We are tenting, but nevertheless, we still have hot showers, a kitchen, and laundry available to us. This has been a nice blessing! Also, there is internet access but they charge by the gigabyte, so we will be using it sparingly. God has been very good to us!

Pictures to come!
