When returning home from The World Race, I was ready to just settle in back to normal life at home for awhile, save up some money, and set myself up to move next fall. Funny thing about plans though, when we make them on our own we forget Gods plan may be different.

This time, that’s the case. I’ve been offered an opportunity to prepare for my next stage in life instead of just transitioning into it blind. My dream is to one day be part of a ministry that aids human trafficking victims. This is a line of work that is going to need background preparation. I want to learn the ins and outs of planning, innovating, and financing my own organization.

I believe AIM’s Fellowship program will fulfill all of those needs and much more.

AIM staff selected 13 out of the 200 WR alum who launched in January 2014 to interview for the Fellowship leadership program.

I am one of the 13.

This March I will move to Gainesville Georgia where AIM’s headquarters is located.

1. What is this “Fellowship” program?

“The Fellowship is a 6 month program that allows emerging leaders to uncover their aptitude for partnering biblical principles with innovative thought processes. With an opportunity to practice Kingdom living in the workplace, our Fellows become equipped with an increased capacity to live out their faith through their work and the tools necessary to turn their dreams into a reality”

2. How much money do you need to raise?

$ 9,950

Support Deadlines:

+March 2nd: $3,000

+May 8th: $6,500

+Jul 6th: $9,950 (full amount)

3. What does amount cover over the six months?

  • $1,000 monthly stipend to cover living expenses
  • Housing for six months (that’s right, more community living! )
  • Program costs Curriculum
  • (books, instructors, lessons)
  • Fellowship retreat to launch the program
  • Monthly activities (i.e. dinners, retreats…etc)
  • 1 leadership event during the program

I know this program doesn’t seem “as glamorous” as 11 countries in 11 months. I’ll be living in America, working in the office. However I fully believe Christ laid this opportunity in my lap. Your alls support through 2014 meant the world to me. The world race was an amazing opportunity that brought growth to my life, spiritually and personally. I think The Fellowship is my next step in missions. I think it is the next phase of growth for my faith and set up for what God has for me in the future.

If you would like to be part of this journey with me through financial, spiritual, and/or emotional support that would be greatly appreciated!

No amount is too small or too large, and all show your support for Gods plan in my life.
