Hi I’m Saylah.

I have been raised in the Pacific Northwest. I love the ocean and love the mountains. I’d describe a perfect day as drizzly and gray with a big cup of french press coffee and a walk by the Puget Sound. My favorite pass time is going on walks with friends, especially if they are up jagged trails or to Chipotle. I can’t function without Jesus and coffee.

God breaks my heart over and over again for the displaced children and families in the world. I’ve been to college twice. The first time I got a degree in painting, the second time a degree in social work. I love to paint and I love to serve people. I’ve been working with the state of Washington for the past four years helping foster kids and their families. I’ve seen a lot and God has given me His strength and grace to continue on day to day. I am sad to leave but so hopeful for what’s ahead.

I hope you join me on this adventure!
