In honor of Thanksgiving being this week and being on the Race for 72 days (don’t hold me to that number), I am going to list 72 things that I am utterly thankful for. AMENNNN and happy late thanksgiving!
1. My parents and all they have taught me!!
2. My three loyal bestest friends in LSMO who have showed me that true friendship can work when down the street from one another or on different continents. Quality over quantity people!!!
3. Good health (even though I currently have Laryngitis, esta bien)
4. Having a permanent home to rest and not have to hover over the toilet in
5. Breathing fresh air into my lunggss
6. Opportunity to get a good education
7. Laughing so hard my belly hurts (usually with Ellie)
8. A secure job that I genuinely enjoy
9. Time; it is not fleeting. Time to figure my ish out. Time to enjoy life!!!
10. Singing in the car with the windows down
11. Clean water
12. Books that I get way too invested in but i’m sorry, any sane person would sob too
13. Strangers that are kind and hold the door open for the person behind them!!
14. Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech
15. Art that makes you feel a certain way
16. Indoor plumbing!!!!!!!!!!!
17. Ability to see with my own eyes the creations that God gifted us
18. Music. All genres. Amazing.
19. My passion for clothing and expressing myself through what I put on my bodyy
20. Freedom to vote
21. WIFI to facetime into family thanksgiving and listen to my sisters fight, sounds like homeee to me
22. Challenging times that make me appreciate the good ones
23. Modern medicine that’s keeping all us peoples alive
24. Children and the joy they bring to this earth
25. The ability to hear the wind chimes on my back porch and Trent playing Bennie and the Jets for the fifth time in the garage
26. Stargazing at Youthfront
27. My mind, the way it works, processes, and problem solves
28. Sunsets (sunrises are just way to early ok)
29. Food. All kinds. Amazing.
30. The ability to taste good food, God bless taste buds

32. SUNSHINE on my skin
33. A cozy bed to sleep in
34. Weekends, there’s just something magical about them
35. Long sleeves on a cold day
36. Getting my nails done with mom
37. Sundresses
38. Listening to people talk about their passions
39. Dance parties
40. Late nights with my sisters talking about how we will build a neighborhood compound so our family can basically live together forever

42. Songs/Albums that bring me back to a moment or season in life
43. Days spent at Grandmas pool
44. Doing something for the first time
45. Eating watermelon on a hot day
46. When the leaves change colors
47. Living in community
48. That my flesh is weak, but the Spirit is willing
49. Encouraging people and hearing other people encourage people
50. The resources and opportunities I have been given
51. A good freaking cup of black coffee
52. Financial stability

I am thankful for another day to be alive and well. Another day to find the goodness within and see the Kingdom all around me. I thought of 72 things that I am truly thankful for and there are so many more. I encourage you to think, maybe even write down, what are you thankful for?
