Helllllooo friends and family, Guatemala has been so amazing. Everyday is a GOOD day because I am learning how to follow and listen to the Holy Spirit. I’ve been learning to surrender my own agenda to follow a more self-less and honoring one. Letting the Holy Spirit into my daily life has dramatically changed the outcome of my days

Whether we’re in Antigua for a Sunday morning church service or doing ATL (ask the Lord) during ministry, God has been leading us to people who need prayer for healing or people who invite us into their homes and make us the most amazing meals with the little that they do have. People have been healed, miracles have taken place, and relationships have been built.

My team and I work in a small village called Calderas, it is located at the base of a volcano and the view is absolutely stunning. On Mondays and Tuesdays we teach English classes to the local children and it has been the BEST. The kids are so intelligent and always hungry to learn more. The class of boys that I teach are silly, competitive and hilarious when I actually understand what they are saying. On Wednesdays we teach a bible study in ALL SPANISH, this has definitely been the hardest part of ministry so far. Lots and lots of preparation the night before + google translate are what make these classes happen. But! I am learning so much Spanish! It is such a beautiful language and I can’t wait to see how my team and I continue to improve in this over the next three months.

When we aren’t teaching English or doing bible studies with the kids we are literally asking the Lord what to do. He has led us to the most generous and genuine people.

I can’t wait to continue building strong relationships and friendships with the people in Calderas, + the boys in my class. I know God has huge plans for our time in Guatemala and I can’t wait to share them with you

Our squad Christmas tree brought to us by the thrift homeland, Mega Paca!

Oracio, a beautiful and happy soul! He welcomed us into his home and prepared us a delicious traditional meal. He is ALWAYS smiling this big.
