Savanna Rose Thomas

A name like that and you already know she has to be sweet. I have had the privilege and pleasure of having this beautiful, people-loving woman on my team. I don’t think my words and writing could do justice for the intricate character and heart of Savanna, but I surely can give people a glimpse.

Have you ever been away from home for a while, but then have a small thing, or a specific aroma, or a place bring you back to that feeling of home? Every time I am in Savanna’s presence, the atmosphere she creates for people is of sweet nostalgia. She has a sincere gift of comfort and can speak peace into the troubled hearts she sees.

For as much of a peace-maker she is, she also has the heart of a warrior. She fights for those who are desperately in need of justice. The way she loves is by speaking truth into situations and not being afraid of what she believes in. She is an advocate for the visions and goals of other people. She desires to push people to be better and pushes herself to be better.

She has faced adversity like no other on this trip and has come out of the blazing fire stronger and more confident than ever. This is not because she knows her strength, it is because she knows her weaknesses and allows her God to be her strength.

She is an example by her vulnerability and inability to present an inauthentic version of herself. She is who she is, and she is not afraid to show it, but she is also not okay with remaining where she is at. She seeks knowledge and understanding. Her never-ending fervor for truth inspires me.

To wrap up what I know most of all about Savanna is that she presses into loving and blessing every person she meets. She desires to make people feel worthy and to feel loved and it is her mission to be the love to others that she receives from the Father. Simply put, Savanna is a growing light that shines brighter everyday, drawing people closer to knowing true love and drawing people closer to who can give it.

I am blessed to know Savanna and She inspires me daily to be a more understanding, more inspiring, and more loving person everyday.

Thank you Lord for giving me a friend like Savanna Rose Thomas.

Love, Milena
