Hello from Kohn Kaen, Thailand!!!
sorry in advance for the lack of updates… I was talking to my mom last week and realized that I hadn’t told her anything about where I was or what I was doing and then I thought, “oh gosh, I need to update my friends and supporters…” … so that’s what I’m doing !! 🙂
My team and Ahava (another team from my squad) have been here for a week and a half. In that time we have envanglized at colleges, passed out flyers for a camp that YWAM will be putting on next month, manual labor at an orphanage, prayed and hung out with guys at a rehab center, sang songs, done skits, and about 10 more things that I honestly can’t remember right now…
But moral of the last paragraph GOD IS MOVING and WORKING and PLANTING SEEDS
so far I have shared a Christmas testimony with about 200 kiddos, prayed with a man to receive Christ at a rehab center, and made friendships with some of the locals. It’s a great time here in Thailand (if you couldn’t tell)
hmmm… what else what else….. oh!
Last weekend was my birthday (thanks for all the birthday wishes ppl in america!!!) and my teammates made me feel so loved!! We went and saw Star Wars, I ate maybe three times my body weight in food, I had an abundance of icecream, and I cried about a thousand tears from happiness…. wow such a good way to enter into my 23rd year!!! I couldn’t have asked for God to bless me any more than He did.
Well, we have only a week left in Kohn Kaen (yes this month is super short but God can do big things in little time!!) my team will be headed to Chiang Mai, Thailand on the 28th of December where we will meet up with the rest of the squad for LDW (leadership development weekend). This will be the last time I’m with my original team, Abiding Azar because team changes will be happening at LDW!!! Then we will be headed to Myanmar on January 1st!!! Wow, how is Month 5 almost over and how are we already headed into our last month in Asia….
times a flying cause we sure are having fun!!!!
