So there’s this girl named Savannah London…… If you are reading this, there’s a good chance you know her, too.

But little back story first. I’m a Florida girl in a Tennessee world… Chattanooga to be exact, just not close enough to Memphis sadly, right Savannah? 😉 I’m a transplant here in the Volunteer state. I moved a little over two years ago and never looked back. Desiring a change in my life and making it happen, I just had no idea that this life shift would ultimately lead me going on a little (HUGE) thing called The World Race and giving me the huge blessing of my path crossing with Savannah’s.

We are fellow squad mates launching out together on this incredible journey and I want to shout it from the roof tops I LOVE AND ADORE SAVANNAH. I fell in love with her immediately. Her humor, her smile, her encouraging ways… (she has talked me down from the ledge of fear multiple times), but most of all her love for people and importantly Jesus.

GUYS, I cannot thank YOU, her supporters, enough!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! For without you and your love and support this journey wouldn’t be near as sweet for her, and selfishly for me as well. Because of you I get to go on this 11-month adventure to 11 different countries with her. This journey of self-discovery, of intentional living as we speak into and love on others in Jesus name. I would want no one else by my side. Your monetary support and prayers have meant the world to her and to our squad as we have seen God work on Savannah’s behalf as she has stepped out in obedience and said “YES” to the calling God has placed on her life.

I have gotten to know Savannah’s heart leading up to this trip and to know her on such a personal level, and the world needs her hands and feet in the nations. I haven’t physically met her yet, oh but next week girl that is all changing, next week that hug is coming!!!!! Did you know apparently this girl is not a hugger? I know I know…. It’s seriously her only flaw (this is coming from a hugger …haha) like for real 😉

I wanted nothing more than to hop on here and tell you what Savannah has meant to me in such a short period of time. I know there are people probably reading this who know Savannah from all seasons of life and could share their own stories and same sentiments. People come into our lives for different reasons… some for just a season and some for a lifetime…. And I can pretty much guarantee that after all this is said and done…. Savannah, girl, this is a for a lifetime baby!!

Thank you for having that yes spirit to do this thing. To step out when it’s not always comfortable what God is calling us to do but it’s going to be so so worth it and glad I get to be with you every step of the way.

And for you reading this, thank you for going along on this journey, for being that support system and cheering section that she needs, that our squad needs as I ask you to cover us in prayers as time is winding down to launch in October.

Training camp here we come.

See you so soon, Savannah!! I love you!!
