Hello all! First things first, I want to thank each and every one of my supporters. Whether you have donated financially or have rallied with me in prayer throughout my journey so far, I am so, so, so grateful and blessed to have you join me on this amazing adventure God is taking me on. You can’t even imagine how full my heart is from all of your support. I worried a bit off and on, but God is consistently showing up in big and little ways! He is always reminding me that He’s got this. Not just with fundraising, but also with my schoolwork. He reminds me over and over that I should not worry. There is absolutely no need, nay, no place for worry in my heart when I am open to the working of His will in my life! It’s freeing.
SO, you may be wondering how much I have raised? I am currently at exactly $5,371! How absolutely INCREDIBLE is that? Papa is an incredible provider and I know as long as the Race is in His will, He will come through. This current total puts me at around $2,100 from my December 18th deadline ($7,500) and around $11,000 from my June deadline!
If you are reading this and think “I won’t support because someone else will,” OR you have been meaning to donate but haven’t gotten around to it, there is absolutely no time like the present. I need YOUR help to make this goal. I donate where I can from my own funds (and have actually contributed quite a bit from the beginning), but there is no way I will be able to cover the rest of my goals myself. Sometimes people don’t give because they just don’t know how much TO give. Well, I found this nifty little chart to aid in that!

Here are some prayer requests, if you could keep them in your minds and hearts:
- Focus in my studies. The semester is almost over and as a senior English major, I have a TON of papers that are due very soon… and it is stressing me out. And when I stress out, I shut down. So please keep my sanity in your prayers. I graduate in December, which is a welcome relief.
- My team. Pray for the leaders in my team and that we all are able to grow in Christ and grow each other in this time before launch.
- My squad. Pray for contentment and finances. Several in O squad are fully funded already, or have met the goals, but even more of us are still struggling to make those goals and the worry about fundraising can be a burden at times.
- Each of the countries we will be going to. Pray for the people we will encounter and the hearts God is preparing. Pray for the political and social climates in each countries.
- God’s will. Pray that His will, whatever that may be, will be done unto all of us. I don’t yet know what that looks like, but I know I will go wherever He leads.
