Our time in Costa Rica is waning. We have until Monday until we leave for Honduras and I am both sad and excited to go. This month has been an absolute blast and blessing and God has been all over it. These past couple of weeks have been spent blessing the kids of the community, the school, and the youth leadership team in Los Guidos. We were blessed to hear the testimonies of those in the youth leadership and it is astonishing and encouraging to witness their maturity in Christ. It is not something you see often in America. These kids are between the ages of 11 and 17 and they all are absolutely intertwined in Jesus. It’s beautiful to hear them speak and some of the things they’ve been through is heartbreaking, but they look to God through it. For these youth to be so mature in their faith when so much is against them here in this community is truly a blessing to see.

Goodbyes were difficult and tears were shed, but I am so blessed and happy to have something to cry over. I love that this month was the kind of month that I will dearly miss and have deep sorrow in leaving. But I find joy through that. I am sure I will be back in Costa Rica one day.

A more in depth post will come before I leave for Honduras. I love you all!
